Step 1: Access the KYC Verification Page
Log in to your BTSE account.
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
From the drop-down menu, select "Verification" to go to the KYC verification section.
By default, you'll land on the Individual Verification page.
If you're a corporate user, click “Verify as Corporate” in the top-right corner to switch to corporate verification.
You can switch to the individual verification process anytime by selecting “Verify as Individual”.
Step 2: Click Verify to Start the Identity Verification Process
Required personal information: Ensure to fill the questionnaire with all details that match exactly with those of your government-issued identity document (ID).
Proof of Identity: The system will open a verification window for the next steps:
Take a clear image of your government-issued photo ID (passport or national ID). Ensure that your ID photo is clear and that all information is visible.
Record a video selfie. Ensure that your camera lens is clean and that you are in a well-lit room so your facial features are clearly visible.
Follow the widget's prompts to retake any photos or videos if necessary.
Proof of address: A document that confirms your current living residence. Must include your full name and residential address; cannot be older than 3 months dating back from the time of BTSE’s receipt. Examples include:
Utility bills (electricity, water, gas)
Bank statements
Tax documents
Rental agreements
Official government correspondence
Source of funds: A document that refers to the origin of the particular funds or other assets you intend to deposit in your BTSE account to acquire BTSE services.
We require a description of your source of funds with min of 30 characters, for example: Salary from being employed as a consultant at Consultants Limited.
Source of wealth: A document that refers to the origin of your entire body of wealth (i.e. total assets). This relates to how you have acquired the wealth. It should include information as to the size of your wealth and how such wealth was acquired.
We require a description of your source of funds within 30 characters, for example: My source of wealth is derived from years of employment at Consultants Limited as well as the sale of a property in 2021.
Our verification process typically takes 24h to complete. If additional checks are required, we’ll notify you and follow up within 1-4 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Can't I Verify My Account?
These might be the potential reasons why your verification process was unsuccessful:
Excessive Verification Attempts: If your request has been submitted and rejected three times, please contact customer service for further assistance.
Sanctioned or Prohibited Jurisdictions: If your citizenship or residence is from a country listed in our Sanctioned and Prohibited Jurisdictions list, you will not be able to complete the verification process on BTSE.
Phone Verification Issues: Ensure that your phone number has been correctly entered and that you have completed the OTP verification. If you have reached the maximum attempt limit for phone verification, this stage will be locked for 24 hours before you can attempt the verification process again.
Are there limits on the number of KYC submissions?
Yes, you can submit your KYC verification documents up to three times. If your submission is rejected after three attempts, you will need to contact customer support for further assistance.
