Important Update: Sunsetting of Services via BTSE AG

As part of our ongoing efforts to align with evolving strategic business priorities and the shifting regulatory landscape, BTSE is making changes to the scope of services available through its Liechtenstein-based entity, BTSE AG.


Due to a decision taken at the group level to reorganize our operations, services provided via www.btse.li will sunset. This decision reflects our commitment to providing clarity to our customers and ensuring a managed transition of funds.


If you are not a user on www.btse.li, you can ignore this announcement.


What is Changing

Effective 1st July 2026, crypto-asset trading and deposit services on the www.btse.li platform will sunset. 


Sunset Date

All primary service functions will sunset effective 1st July 2026.


What You Can Do Before 1st July 2026

Until 30th June 2026 (inclusive), you are encouraged to:

  • Manage Your Portfolio: Close any open spot orders and manage your balances according to your preferences.
  • Withdraw Funds: You may withdraw your funds at any time to an external wallet or another platform.
  • Finalize Trades: Ensure all active trades are completed, as any assets tied to open orders after the sunset date will be returned to your spot wallet.


What Happens From 1st July 2026 Onwards

From the sunset date onward, the following changes will apply:

  • Trading Discontinued: All spot trading functions will be disabled.
  • Deposits Disabled: The platform will no longer accept incoming crypto-asset deposits.
  • Account Access: Login, Convert, and Withdrawal functions will remain available. You will still be able to access the platform to manage and withdraw your remaining balances.


Safekeeping of Funds
We wish to reassure all users that customer funds remain secure. BTSE continues to prioritize the protection and orderly withdrawal of client assets throughout this transition. All withdrawals will continue to be processed in line with our standard security protocols and applicable rules.


Next Steps and Support
If you do not agree with the updated service scope, we recommend withdrawing your full balance and requesting account closure once your funds have been successfully transferred.
